The journey to self-discovery and healing can be enhanced with the support of a psychotherapist who is warm, compassionate, and believes in the right to experience love and companionship within whatever context feels most in tune with one’s spirit. As a sex-positive and gender-affirming psychotherapist, I believe that there are multiple avenues, both traditional and non-traditional, for humans to experience life, love, companionship, and sexual pleasure.

My style is warm and direct, respecting each person’s unique process and experiences. I use my extensive educational and clinical training, along with my own personal experiences, to help others achieve happiness as individuals and healthy, lasting and loving relationships. I am passionate about creating a healing space to practice this work.

Where did you grow up?

I am a military brat so I have lived in various places. I spent most of my childhood in Los Angeles & Highland, California.

What personal challenges have you overcome or are working through as a result of your upbringing?

Growing up moving from place to place raised a number of issues in my life. I struggled to find stability, feeling a sense of belonging, and developing healthy relationships. I had to work to create identify what "healthy" looks like within my family structure, within acquaintanceships, friendships, and intimate relationships. Also a number of generational. curses existed in my family (physical, mental, spiritual) and I fought to figure out how I could break those generational curses.

What inspired you to become a therapist?

At one point life was getting the best of me...I was in a bad place mentally, physically, and emotionally. I finally reached out to a therapist. Therapy changed my life and I wanted to be an instrument of change for other people.

What are your specialties?

Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), Anxiety, Depression, Addiction, Gender/Identity, Sexuality
