What personal challenges have you overcome or are working through as a result of your upbringing?
I had to work through self-esteem issues and feeling like I wasn't enough as a child. I also had to work through issues I had with my mother.
What inspired you to become a therapist?
I always knew that I wanted to help others, specifically in my community. i knew that I did not want to be a teacher and found myself working in an afterschool program for low income students and the rest is history. Growing up I was taught to take care of your own and that has stuck with me through the years. Becoming a therapist has helped me to give back to my community while helping others.
What are your specialties?
My specialties are Anxiety, Women's Issues, Self-Esteem, Career Transitions, Couples and Young Adults
