What personal challenges have you overcome or are working through as a result of your upbringing?

I was always told that I was only going to be good enough to be a preacher's wife and have children. To this day, I strive for excellence in everything that I do to show others that there is no glass ceiling that you cannot break. You set your own destiny.

What inspired you to become a therapist?

I have a passion to help others become their best, healthiest, and most authentic self.

What are your specialties?

I just about do it all so if you are interested in services, please contact me.

Biography:

CURRENTLY SEEING ACTIVE DUTY MILITARY AND DEPENDENTS PRO BONO Are you feeling challenged, overwhelmed, or having trouble coping? I would be honored to be a part of your journey of empowerment, and to help you feel in control of your life regardless of the mental health challenges you are dealing with. Through active collaboration, we will establish a safe environment for you to uncover, label, and resolve your emotions. Together, we will get you to be your best self so that you can victoriously overcome those inner struggles. I am a registered psychotherapist experienced in working with individuals who struggle with substance abuse, and severe, persistent mental illnesses. I specialize in helping BIPOC women and military veterans who have suffered intergenerational and institutional trauma to heal and thrive. I also treat a range of disorders such as PTSD, anxiety and depression.

Give me a call to schedule a brief phone session to discuss your needs. I look forward to meeting you and exploring suitable treatment goals. Please note that I am also available for Telehealth visits for those of you who prefer consulting from the comfort of your own home.
